DOHR (www.dohr.ca), a community-based research project supported by SSHRC, is creating and piloting a curriculum unit about the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children. The curriculum centres on a VR oral history experience of three former residents of the Home. These residents, along with a public inquiry in the province, are active partners in all aspects of the project.
